few more hours and i'll be off to church service! haha.. shud have slept earlier, but not used to sleeping so early! haha... so now, trying my best to make my mind tired and then, Zzzz..... hahahaha!

anyway, days ago, met up with a fren whom i havent seen for years. we talked about things... topics that ranges from nothing to everything! haha. and he mentioned some stuffs that surprised me alot - his perception of me: Dominant. Influential.

haha, i said that he was "nonsensing"... but then, he said, "tat is the impression that you gave me, all the while i know you."

LOL. i wonder if i rili am like dat! dominant? tats y he said, tat is a very suitable attitude esp for ur own career... and mati mati, need to add: but if ur to find a partner, haha... gota be "in-dominant" (got such word?) hehe. wateva lar. if not, susah lor. (tq, kepo). hehe.. JK!

and then, speaking of impression, or attitude. there were ppl who said that im STUBBORN too! aisi... tsk tsk tsk. hahaha... anymore? anymore? haha...

ah! i omost forgot! haha... many many many ppl call me - piggie! watsoever linked to tat 'name' oso lar... cos i am famous for being a lazybum oso! hahaha. esp - goin out wen im tired. i choose sleeping to going out! haha... tats y, u see. oink! oink! hahahahaha!

oh anyway, me done rushing for the tender thingie liau. been OT-ing the past week like mad! and tadaaa... my lil niece is coming back in like, 12 days? yay! btw, she baby-calls (not babytalk yet... haha) me 'a-che' (sis)... and worse still, she calls my elder sis (her momie), 'a-che' too! LOL! evyone's an 'a-che' to her! LOL!

how corrupt can our society be? VERY! VERY!

tat is wad i 'learnt' today! :-( rili made me felt soooo down! haha! so helpless. there is absolutely ntg u can do! my god! just because we did not "feed", my hardwork were all washed down the drain! rili made me felt sooooo dissapointed. of cos, i knew this kinda things happen but not to this extend! :-(

actually, i KNOW this kinda things happens way before today, but i guess i was too stubborn to accept the reality of this happening? or maybe, b4 this, it has noting much to do with me. or, wad... i duno. not so major, i gues? duno! somehow, tis rili affects me alot! it is MY project! :-( argh! so... i duno how to say! dissapointed? more than tat! wen i found out about tis, rili prayed to god tat i WILL NEVER be like tat... and rili prayed tat I WILL NEVER have to do tat. it is not only the person who receives is "polluted", but oso, the person who gives! haih... otherwise, it wud have been my third project! hmmmphhhh... :-(

wad can i do? nothing. i know, everyone wud be telling me, this is VERY normal, VERY common in our society today. and if u wan bsns to survive, tat is wad u do - many ppl tol me tat. i know. i oso know tat, if u dont follow the flow of the river, it means tat, ur going against it... and its gona be very very tiring a swim. and, many a time, u will feel like giving up and let urself just go with the flow. but right now, at this moment, i am still swimming against the current! i dont want to go with the flow! i refuse to! and i rili pray tat there WILL NOT be a day tat i will submit to the strength of the current! my gudness!

i was very very angry in fact. but i know its useless to show the anger. one more step to go, and we could have nailed the project in a CLEAN way. but the so-called 'holy', 'prayed-5-times-a-day' assistant somehow, got his own way of doing! fine! fine! i am soooooooooo very 'broken hearted'! haha....

y bother to go for ur prayers?! why do u even bother to fast?! wad on earth for!!! my gudness! how can u even face urself wen u do all these?? and how can u STILL drag ur feet to that prayer-building of urs?! asking for forgiveness everytime? yet keep committing it? wad?! and how can u buy something with tat kinda 'income' and felt AS IF u've earned it? and how can u be asking to be 'fed' wen it is already ur responsibility and ur job to get that project done?! u ARE paid to work! y do u need to be 'extra paid'?!!!! dont even bother to fast la esp during those months! useless! dont even bother praying to ur god with ur pockets full of DIRTS! u disgust me! :-/

i must be crazy or maybe im just tooo naive, i duno. but still, im feeling worse than ... i duno. all i know is, i am very very fed up. and dissapointed today... :-( arrgh!

i cant sleep! stil very wide awake tho i've been ot-ing for the past 2 days til late. was soo tired in office js now... bt wen reached home, hmmph! i wish i am as tired, so tat atlis, i'll js drop 'dead' and sleep! haha...but im not sleepy yet! help! help!

since im sooo free and no one to disturb now, evyone's sleeping now. hmmm.... o ya, a fren drop a comment in my frenster pix (of my niece). haha... to tat fren, i'd like to say lor, u havent seen my elder sis (i.e. the mommy of my niece... haha) or my lil sis' eyes YET! if u've seen theirs, u wont say tat her eyes look (abit) like mine lor. hahaha.

and then, wad else... CNY is coming soon! hahahah... yay! soon the 1st mth of the new yr is gona be over! speaking of wich, i've broken my new yr resolution long long ago. i gues, resolutions, rules and regulations etc, are made to be broken? hahahaha...

and then,... oh! compliment! compliment! hahahah... JK! from a fren whom i havent met in years... 3 to 4 yrs like dat, i tink. he happen to come across my korea pix, haha.. and guess wad? such an "insincere" comment, but was funny lar. said he tot the pix was of a local korean girl! cheh! hahah... it wasnt a real compliment lar.. but haha. i dun care lar. i treat it as one. hehehe...

oh yea, weekend. i had a weekend well spent. haha.. from morning til nite, sat n sun. and even the fri nite b4 tat. and! i even met up with a fren from johor, whom i have not seen in 5 years?? or 4 years?? wahhh, had a great time chatting with him. and, haha.. the funny thing is - i am sooo paiseh to admit that im from kuching! hahaha! u see, tat fren was here on a bsns thingie... so i sent him back to his fren's hse tat nite. AND I GOT LOST! hahahaha! whahahahHAHAHAHhaha! so men-siasoi-kan! hahahaha... stupid roundabout! no road sign, no nothing! caused me to round the roundabout for 3 times! drove into 2 wrong roads... drive til the end, hmmm... it didnt seem right, so turned back again, then try another 'cabang' of the rounabout... wrong again! then, 3rd one... finally got me home! tsk tsk tsk... was lafing at myself for being sooo 'direction-blind'! terible! if my lil sis were to read this, tsk tsk tsk...

and then, wad else... o ya, over the weekend, one weekeend only,... i've "collected" duno how many questions from different ppl, of cos... asking d same thing. i din know ppl 'cares' so much for me! haha... jk! jk! the hot question of the YEAR, i suppose - "hav u a bf already?" aiyerrr... make me answer til soooo irritated, but of cos, with a fake smile, still. hahahaha... gues im getting more n more used to this Q also now. haha... practice makes perfect...they say. lol

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However,he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.

She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"

"You don't owe me anything," she replied" Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness."

He said... "Then I thank you from my heart." As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong as well. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Years later that young woman became critically ill.. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called infor the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life.

From that day he gavespecial attention to the case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, and then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room.

She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all.

There was once this guy who is very much in love with his girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl. Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future doesn't seem too bright, they were very happy together.

Until one day, his girl told him that his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then... Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of him. Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had setup his own company... You never fail until you stop trying.

One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take himl ong to realize they were his girl's parents. With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He made it!

What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and sohe got out of his car and followed...and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right beside her... Her parents saw him.

He asked them why this had happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle... therefore she had chosen to leave him.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again.... he can take some of those back with him...

Once you have loved, you will always love. For what's in your mind may escape but what's in your heart will remain forever.

The guy just wept...

The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her ever again...

Find time to realize that there is one person who means so much to you; for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.

Woke up late today! Haha! And when I'm on my way to office, a friend called and asked me to go for breakfast! My gudiness! I was already late la, pal! Hehe. And this week, has been rushing for a client’s stuff, so really can't afford to be in at 10, as he ‘suggested’! Haha! Sorry for that!

Brought the 3rd kind of cookie to office yesterday. Yummie! And the cookies ‘disappeared’ today. Haha.

So, being an avid listener of Hitz.fm, I managed to tune in to J.Lo and Ian’s new ‘Drive Thru’ slot on Tuesday, if I'm not mistaken. Was working late that day, and! They were actually discussing about the song! Lyrics-wise, sentence by sentence, what exactly is being sung! That why I'm posting this. Haha. If not for them, I wouldn’t have noticed anything peculiar about this song. Hehe. I was so surprised that this song turned out to be a song for a ‘mistress’! Hah! little things in life #4 - "catching-ups"

do some "catching-ups" with ur ol pals. it feels great. hehe. i just had a "session" with them (3 of us only, btw) tis aftnun. hehe. found out, 1 broke up liau! with a bf of 6 yrs +++! and another, planning to get married liau! haha... and me? i am stil me.. hehehe! LOL. but rili, tho very close, we nvr seemed to have the rite time for each other. so its rili nice to see them again, updating each other, and laf over the lil lil silly things tat happened in our lifes!

A friend said something recently, errm… like few days ago? Haha. Something that I thought was sooo true.

True huh? I thought so too. I guess, most of the time, no normal being can force the outcome of something, no matter how confident they are. Personally, I think, as long as I’ve tried my best and I’ve really put in all my efforts, then if the outcome is really not what I expected, at least, I can still be at peace with myself. Haha.

Omigosh! I think I'm in CNY mood liau. Haha! Mati! Haha… All I can think of since I started working (May 06) is, HOLIDAYS! HOLIDAYS! HOLIDAYS! Hahahah! Not that I don't like my job, I love it… but I prefer to work, then take a break, then work again, and after a while, break. Haha. Unlike my boss and d wife – feeling guilty for taking few days off from their work to go traveling!! Hehe. Even now, since yesterday, been negotiating with my boss on the total of off days I get for CNY. Haha! But, like I said earlier, being workaholics themselves, I dare not hope for more than the usual lar. Just HOPEFULLY, PRAYFULLY that they will gip me more off days! Hahahaha! Keep telling them, CNY period, business won't be soooo ‘hiong’ lar… haha. Everyone will be taking leaves lar, so why needa come back so early and do nothing, correct? Haha… I can just gip whatever reasons I can think of, just to get me more off days! That is why daddy always says that I ‘catch snake’. Haha. Even said, all the ‘snakes’ in the whole Ang Cheng Ho area’s been caught by yours truly already! Hahaha! LOL. Cish! Haha… how can a father commented such of his own daughter! Hahaha… laugh dead me!~ Anyway, I really hope my boss is kind enough! Seeing that I have already taken ALL my annual leaves for the may 07 – april 08 period! And its not even the end of my 1st year working here yet! Cham! Hahaha… and, since coming back to work after the new year holidays, I’ve been bringing to office those CNY cookies that mum made (for samples, requested by people! Haha. 2nd type of cookie liau today. Haha). Boss ‘accused’ me of trying to create a CNY holiday mood here in the office! Whahahaha! LOL! I'm innocent! Just bringing those for my own consumption nia! And for the lady boss. Hehe. No other intention! Haha…

Ha! Just got a call now! From a friend whom I’ve known since… errm… almost forever! Haha… telling me bout the airasia’s free tix promo. Asking me whether to go Bali o not? Hahaha! Or Bangkok. But anyway, will be meeting her and another close friend of ours this coming Sunday afternoon. Been SO long since the three of us last met! Looking forward to it! Hehehe! Don't care about the bombing lar. Hehe... but then, always plan nia nia, but never really accomplish what we planned! Haha… hopefully, this is for real! ;-P

Btw, these 2 days, boss and wife not here. So, that’s why you can see me catching another snake now. Haha. Nah, I am not like that! It is PURELY because I have nothing much to do, except creating the corporate identity for a law firm. Hmmm, won't take long, that one. Aside from that, nothing much for today! So I'm self-extending my lunch hour, eating the cookies I brought, “happy cny, people!” haha… and typing away. Haha. My boss is out dealing with people the whole day, and my lady boss is sick since yesterday afternoon. Even tapao-ed a pack of mini ‘kueh topi’ for me this morning when she came for work, but later goes home again… coz still not feeling well. I don't exactly go for lunch, you see. I eat junks in the office. Haha. Cookies lar, titbits lar, kuehs, keropoks, etc etc. haha. Ok! Back to work. See, tol ya, I'm don't simply catch snakes! ;-P

2006 was...

9 January 2007. Tuesday. 445pm.

I'm bored! Done with all my stuffs liau! Nothing to do no more! Anyway, McD’s prosperity meal is out!! FINALLY! Hahaha… hope it stil tastes the same! Yummie yummie! I off work at 6pm! Arghh!

Ok. Since I'm sooo free and sooo bored. Lemme see, what have I achieved in 2006. haha… or rather, what have I been doing for the past year.

1. Completed my degree in Graphic Design.

2. ALMOST went to an interview in an advertising company recommended by Ogilvy’s ex-senior art director, but somehow, in the end, I did not go. Too rush. And have me wondering still, if I should have gone… haihh :-/

3. Work full time in M Concepts (before this, only part time – during long semester breaks, or freelancing).

4. Started paying for my own car! ;-)

5. CAR ACCIDENT!! Not my fault tho. Was hit by a super BLIND and jerky, ‘chicken-ish’ Chinese guy who later sped away! Hmmph! QKJ 6601! Chicken u! HMMPH! ;-!

6. Went Melaka for the first time in June. CHICKEN RICE BALLS! Aiyo… I miss it soo much! Haha.

7. Attended the first ‘friend’s wedding’. And many more to come, I'm sure. Haha. Esp this 2007. Held in Melaka in november, and i managed to eat the chicken rice again! haha... and was introduced to 2 'new' foods there in melaka, the nyonya rojak and nyonya wad liau? i forgot. but very very nice! im attracted to melaka's food! cham! so hard n inconvenient place to go! hahahaha! LOL.

8. Oh! For the 1st time, worked from 9am til the next morning, without sleep, haha… in the office – just to finish up a proposal for a government body, cos the meeting was last min scheduled! Hmmph!

9. O ya, this year also, was introduced to a few close friends’ other half. Lemme see, tat ‘lakia’ lor, hehe… 8jie, keljie, moon. Gues tats all?

10. My own D70s. hehe. Been wanting one (slr) since… history! Haha…

11. KOREA~! Hahaha… kim chi! And snow~ SKI! Duno what else… I forgot.

12. ‘Finished’ my annual leaves for 2006 liau, as well as advanced my 2007 leaves! No more leaves for 2007! *sob! *sob!

13. Brought my lil sis to KL to cont her studies :-( no big deal lar, but if she’s around, even nicer! Haha. I'm her driver, she’s my ‘cook’. But of course, miss the ‘wuliau-ness’ of her around too. Haha.

14. Can't really recall much, especially those in the 1st half of the year. Haha. Oh, ‘emcee-ed’ a seminar, when a Japanese lecturer was invited over. Hehe ;-P

15. My year-end trip to Sematan. Hehe. Old friends are always the best, the ones you're most comfy with. Hehe.

16. Duno what else, but I ended my 2006 and ushered in my 2007 with prayers, while everyone else was out parteeing! Hehe. Was in church, prayed into the New Year! ;-)

17. Last but not least, hehe… made up my mind to stay and work in Kuching liau, and may my lil ‘plan’ be achieved soon (March? Duno yet). Will update again when it happens. Some of my friends might know what I'm talking about. Hehe. Wish me the ‘bestest’ of luck ya! the rest, duno wad else, cannot rmber oso! haha...

my new year's resolution.

Finally! After 7 days into the new year, I’ve made ONE resolution. Hahaha.. I don’t, NEVER, to be exact, made any resolutions before. Haha. Guess this one, hmmm… for my own peace also. My 2007 resolution – jeng jeng!!! STOP ARGUING WITH MY BOSS! Hahaha. really!! Since working here in May 06, my gudiness! Can practically argue every morning! But not the same case with my lady boss. Haha… she’s nice. Hmmmph my boss, can be soooooooooo sooooooo ‘loso’. can't stand him! Loso like duno wad like dat! And everytime, ended up, me storming out of the room! And bang the drawer! And still, not listening to whatever he had just said. I’m a very stubborn person. Very. So anyway, so far 8th day now, and I'm still handling it well. So happy of my ‘achievement’! haha!

A student ask a teacher, "what is love ?"

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question,go to the padi field and choose the biggest padi and come back. But the rule is: you can go throught them only once and cannot turnback to pick." The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big padi,but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is a even bigger one waiting for him. Later, when he finished more than half of the padi field, he start to realise that the padi is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one,and he regretted !!!! So, he ended up went back to the teacher empty handed.

The teacher told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realise, you have already miss the person...."

"What is marriage then?" the student asked.

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go throught them only once and cannot turn back to pick. " The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.

little things in life #1 – the cheerful sounds of chirping from the birds

how often do you notice the chirping sound of the birds outside your window? hehe… I don’t normally notice that, til last week. hahaha… in the office. kitchen! it was raining, as usual for the past weeks, raining whole day and that particular day, I was kinda gloomy as well. something bothered me greatly the night before so I was very ‘zombie-ish’ that day. haha. but anyway, as I washed my hand, suddenly there’s this 2 birds, I can only see their ‘silhouette’ – frosted film on window, light from outside, that is y. haha.. anyway, they were chirping away sooooo ‘kepo-ly’! sheltering emselves from the rain at the window pane. hahaha.. well atlis, it really carved a lil smile on my face! little things in life #2 – holding hands

ok. this one. I know, for those who has a partner, married, etc… this is SO common. but then, what I meant here is, and what I long to see is, old couples holding hands. hehe… not something very common, i'm sure u agree!~ how many of u actually see this everyday? nope! youngsters, of cos. they appear everywhere holding hands in front of u, but not old couples. I saw one before, in kuching, somewhere in bdc, if i'm not mistaken. hehe… SOOOOOO SWEET. so loving. sooo cute. sooo very the sweet! hahaha… really it is! I know, u might be thinking, wads the big deal? ya, wads the big deal…but do u see it happening, a lot? nope! so for me, personally, everytime I see old couples, grannies holding hands, so loving still… in my heart, there’s a smile… hoping that one day when i'm old, I’ll REMEMBER to do that too!~ hahaha…


little things in life #3 – play bear-bear? whahHAhahah!

hahahaha… not many people wil understand this. except my lil sis! hahahaha… surely surely surely! will make me LOL, laugh terribly this one. see the attached pix. hahahaha… no matter how dead tired i am... when tis is 'requested'...aihhh, u just cannot cannot reject! (kcb, u know wad i mean!) hahahah! but its rili rili a good way to make one laf their head out! hahahahahah!
