how man & woman differs

(someone fwded this for me to POST it! tsk tsk tsk...)
NICKNAMES

• If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.
• If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla and Four-eyes.
(no ler, we do not. we call each other 'chabo'. hahaha...)

EATING OUT
• When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it's only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually(?) admit they want change back.
• When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.
(liar! it actually depends on who ur out with, and not gender!)

MONEY
• A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
• A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale.
(but also, when she NEEDS tat someting, she'll pay $2 for the $1 item).

BATHROOMS
• A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel from M&S.
• The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.
(me neither! hehehe...)

ARGUMENTS
• A woman has the last word in any argument.
• Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.
(hmm... duno ler tis one. but sounds scary tho! hahah... antg said after tat = new argument?!! LOL! teriblenyerr)

CATS
• Women love cats.
• Men say they love cats, but when women aren't looking, men kick cats.
(in my case, Dogs. and in Dogs, it means our Mao Mao ONLY).

FUTURE
• A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
• A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
(liar! i bet evyone worries somtimes, abt all that concerns em for the future! work, health, finance, etc... no mer?)

SUCCESS
• A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
• A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
(trying to be a 'flowerpot' eh?)

MARRIAGE
• A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
• A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, but she does.
(LOL! REALLY? hahaha... how can anyone marries expecting the other party to change? arent u supposed to marry him AS WHO HE IS? LOL... i have no idea. hahaha.. married ppl - wad say u?)

DRESSING UP
• A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the bins, answer the phone, read a book, and get the post.
• A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.
(neh, nowadays guys are as dressy-uppies as gals are. or worse...)

NATURAL
• Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed.
• Women somehow deteriorate during the night.
(haha! rili? married ppl - NO NID TO SAY ANTG on this one! hehe...)

OFFSPRING
• Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favourite foods, secret, fears and hopes and dreams.
• A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.
(whahahahah! 'some short ppl'! cute... cute...)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
• Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.
(LOL!!!!! menyindir-nyeeeerrrrr this 'thought'! LOL!!! hahahaha... but i guess its true herh?)

• What a woman says: C'mon..This place is a mess. You and I need to clean.Your trousers are on the floor and you'll have no clothes if we don't do the laundry now.
• What a man hears: C'MON ... blah, blah, blah YOU AND I blah, blah, blah, blah, blah ON THE FLOOR blah, blah, blah, NO CLOTHES blah, blah, blah, blah, NOW
(no comment on this... LOL).

'kissed' again...

hehe... i tricked u into reading this post ler with the title? hehe...
anyway, its my car. got hit AGAIN, wen im odw (on the way) home js nw. haihhh... speechless. slowing down to a stop near the u-turn at bt. kawa road, and the old saga behind me cudnt brake in time, so bumped into my car.
my 2nd accident so far. and both, got hit from the back. atlis tis one, the malay pakcik din run. haha... he knew its his fault. HE WAS DRINKING FROM HIS BOTTLE, he said, and din rili notice me braking. but luckily, my car's bumper stil 'looks' good (as compared to the 1st time), except for the scratch n VERY minor dents, wich is omos undetectable unless u feel it with ur fingers. hehe... gona get it sprayed tis thurs. he paid liau.
the kesian thing is, raya is arnd the corner... too bad for him. i even chatted with him (him sitting on the road divider, and me in my carseat) while waiting for my dad to come and deal with it. cos i have zero idea wher to send the car to! hahah... anyway, the pakcik was actually fresh from the airport fetchng his doter who works in bintulu, back here for raya. haha... him taking a sip thingie, rili bopien la... his 'luck' - its roundabout berbuka puasa time. and i RILI felt soooooo bad for having to delay their breaking of fast time to get to the workshop with me. heheh... =P
and! the frustrating part is! daddy 'accused' me of being at fault! hmmph. was rili offended by tis remark so much so that i even had to ask in front of my dad (and the pakcik), "pakcik, bukan salah saya kan?" the pakcik ofcos, said, "bukan... bukan..." haha. just becos it happened AGAIN does NOT mean its my fault! cish! i tink ar, at tat moment, tat remark made me angrier than the fact that my car was hit! if u know me well enuf, u can sense the change there n then! hmmph!
but anyway, wen evyting's settled, in the workshop, we 'salam-ed' with each other, n i greeted em a very happi raya... both the pakcik and the doter. haha.. well, at lis they are perfectly ok and unhurt. cos the
seated at the front passenger seat was his wife and a baby. atlis, they were ok. its nothing major. (actually, can be considered nothing much at all!~)
and guess wad he said to my dad before leaving? hahaha... "lu punya anak byk tenang!" hahaha... LOL. cos there aint much to be 'bising-ed' abt mar, rite? if u'r wrong, u are. dun have to twist and turn etc. so there aint much to be un-tenang about! hehe...
but wad he din know is, if it was the first time i got hit, haha... diff story lor! LOL... tats y i said, experience-d liau! hahaha... if its the previous time arnd, if anyone called me, ha! i can be very sure u'll notice how bler i was! i'd be mumbling duno wad! LOL.
somehow, got invited to their hse for raya somemore! hahaha... an unexpected invitation. hahaha... (the pakcik even described where his hse is etc to daddy!) how cute.
oh btw, my car is stil very okayyy, no such nid for a new car... as 'suggested'. thank kiuk veli much. hehe...

hakka

ok, im officially a hakka-moi (hakka = dialect, moi = doter/girl? yea, i know it READS and SOUNDS soooo un-nice. hakka dialect is like tat! watodo...) haha.
anwy, today (monday) somehow tot of replyin a fren whom i know is VERY the good in this dialect ~ via sms in hakka. hahaha... and walao! hahaha... so very the time-consuming and very the hard! hahaha... and halfway halfway, gota use back english. halfway halfway ter-use cantonese. hahaha... hakka vocab limited ba, but its cute fun. haha... rili! try it!
so, heh kong jiu ngin oi message ngai kin ngit (tuesday), chi jung hakka pin yin, but provided if ngi hiau la. if em hiau oso, em hor kau. cos we mite end up em tee each other kong mai si! (i dun declare all that i've said here is dialect-ly correct ar, so if wrong, dun laf ur head out, please! haha... and if u dun understand, nvm... its just for fun! hahahaha...)
oh, its sooo terible til my fren say i pronounce WEIRDLY when we tried to converse in hakka. hahaha... out of tune! LOL! atleast, i know in my family, in not the ONLY one so 'hakka-ly cacat-ed'. hehehe...

Breakfast at McDonald's

(fwded mail. think i've read this before, but dun think i've posted it up? hehe.. nvm. enjoy reading. hmmm... it'll be a very fun assignment to do, im sure - if im assigned one! haha...)

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree. The last class I had to take was Sociology. The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called "Smile."

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions. I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway, so, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning. It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son. We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.

I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible "dirty body" smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men. As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was "smiling".

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance. He said, "Good day" as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation. I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.

He said, "Coffee is all Miss" because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes. That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray. I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Thank you."

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, "I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope."

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, "That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope."

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.

I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand. I turned in "my project" and the instructor read it. Then she looked up at me and said, "Can I share this?" I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my husband, son, instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.
I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn: UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.
i just realized that i have, moments ago, "smiled" to someone VIRTUALLY. big deal, coz i've never 'REALITY-ly' even smiled or talked to tis person before - during schooldays! happen to ter-saw this person few days ago, somewhere... fast eh, the effect of a fwded mail on me! hahaha... JK! JK! hmmm, i kinda miss mcd's beefburger now... hehehe... =D
